additive that accelerates the breakdown of polypropylene and
polyethylene, this unique technology uses microbes to facilitate
the breakdown of plastics as much as 45% in 14 days!
Eco-Eme-Bag's innovative material
allows for the product to be consumed into the environment over
time by turning plastic into biomass (rich soil). The
biodegradation process starts when the Eco-Eme-Bag is placed
into a landfill. Microbes are attracted to the plastic,
colonize on the surface, and begin to digest and break
it down. This is significantly different than other
biodegradable and degradable products, which are broken down by
heat, moisture, UV or mechanical stress.
